Identify the language, then run static analysis, security, efficiency, efficacy, suggested modernizations, and a gap analysis. Reports open beside the code.
A separate step translates GCL into another language. Function-by-function compare and a contrast report sit on that result, apart from the same-language round-trip.
Languages
RPG, COBOL, Pascal, Fortran, Delphi, Ada, Assembly, PL/I, BASIC, Clipper, FoxPro, Natural, PL/SQL, C, and C++. Other batches can be identified from the source itself.
After GCL exists, translate into Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Kotlin, PHP, Ruby, Swift, or Scala, or back through the source languages.
